How Antarum earns money

Overview

A wheeled ‘cyber pet’ for families that recognizes household members and pets, shows its mood on two round eye screens and keeps shared memories in a removable module. It is made by Ollobot Robotics in Hong Kong, a member of the BizConf Technology group.

Why we’re watching it

Built as a companion, not a helper: it is meant to recognize family members and pets, approach people on its own and react to voice and facial expressions.
Privacy is part of the hardware: a physical camera cover, encrypted processing on the device, and photo or video capture only with the user’s permission.
Its memories sit in a removable ‘Memory Heart’ (16 GB RAM, 64 GB storage), which OlloBot says can move to a future OlloBot device.

What bothers us

No price and no sales date: the planned Kickstarter campaign was postponed in August 2026, and no new date has been announced.
OlloBot has not published a full spec sheet; size, weight and battery capacity come from press reports.
It films and remembers family life, but OlloBot has not yet explained in detail how long data is kept and how it is deleted.
