A compact classroom robot launched in 2025 with an on-board AI vision sensor, omni-wheel drive and a small kicker. Students code how it finds and handles balls, barrels, AprilTags and colours, in blocks or Python.

Why it’s in

It acts on what it sees: the on-board AI vision sensor finds objects, AprilTags and colours, and students code the robot’s reactions.

A current (2025) design from VEX, a school and competition robotics maker with its own European sales entity.

What bothers us

The AI vision is trained on VEX’s own balls, barrels and AprilTags (plus colours); it is not a general object detector.
The web store shows US dollars only; EU buyers get a euro quote from VEX Europe, so the final EU price is not public.
Battery runtime is not stated on the product page.
