Which one?

Hypershell X Pro S

Choose the X Pro S if you want Hypershell’s newest AI control and a little more range: up to 17.5 km per battery. It has 10 modes and assistance up to 20 km/h. In Europe it is sold in euros, also by retailers such as Decathlon and Fnac.

Dnsys X1 Carbon

Choose the X1 Carbon if low weight and a quick battery swap matter most: 1.6 kg for the mechanics and 900 W peak power. You change its battery in about 3 seconds. It costs less in the US; in Europe, taxes and duties come on top of its dollar price.

  • The previous-generation X Pro costs €100 less

Dnsys X1 Carbon: What bothers us

  • Priced in USD, and EU taxes and duties are not included in the store price
  • Only 15 km per battery on the Carbon model
  • Hands-on: audible motor noise and a hard-to-reach power button
