Not yet. Tesla builds Optimus for its own factories. On 21 October 2026, Elon Musk said deliveries to companies outside Tesla should start around the end of 2027, with sales for homes after that. There is no price and no way to reserve one.
The G1 costs from $13,500 in Unitree’s official US store, without tax, duties and shipping; in Europe that is from about €11,980, converted from US dollars. Optimus has no price. Musk has named US$20,000 to 30,000 as a long-term target, which is not an offer.
On paper, Optimus: Tesla’s 2021 target was about 1.73 m and 57 kg, and figures for the current version are not published. The G1 is 1.32 m tall, weighs about 35 kg and folds to 0.69 m.
Optimus showed hands with 11 degrees of freedom and tactile sensors on all fingers in 2023 (Gen 2), but reports from September 2026 describe problems with their reliability. For the G1, dexterous Dex3-1 three-finger hands with force control are only an option on the EDU version.
The G1, yes, for events: Antarum passes your request on to rental partners in Europe, the UAE and the US. The G1 comes with an operator, and you book and pay directly with the rental company. Optimus is not available to rent.
