In short: no tracking, no analytics, no ads. We only see what you send us, by email or through our contact form. Our host, Cloudflare, processes technical data so the pages load safely, and may set a security cookie against bots.

2. When you visit the website

Antarum is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open a page, your browser sends technical data: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the page you came from, browser and operating system. Cloudflare processes these data on our behalf to deliver the pages and to protect them against attacks and abuse. We keep no log files of our own and never combine these data with other data.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is a website that is secure and works.

Cloudflare may process data in the USA. Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). Cloudflare’s data processing addendum is part of our contract.

To tell people from bots, Cloudflare can set short-lived, strictly necessary security cookies (for example__cf_bm). Legal basis: § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. No tracking

Apart from Cloudflare’s security cookies, Antarum sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. We use no analytics, no advertising pixels, no social media plugins and no external fonts or services: fonts and images come from our own server.

4. When you write to us

Contact form: the buttons to request a robot and to talk to an expert lead to our contact form. It sends your topic, your email address and your message, and, if you fill them in, your name, the robot and your country, plus whether we may pass your request on to a dealer. The form sends these data through Cloudflare (our host, see section 2) as an email to our mailbox; we store nothing in a database. To keep out spam, the form has a field that people don’t see and checks how quickly it was sent. No captcha and no cookies. If sending fails, the page offers you the same message as an email in your own email program.

Email: some buttons, such as “Notify me”, open your own email program with a prepared message to info@antarum.com. Nothing is sent until you send it yourself.

When you write to us, we process your email address, your message and whatever else you tell us (for example your name, the robot and your country), in order to answer you. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your message is about buying a product or a service; otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

Emails to info@antarum.com and messages from the contact form reach a mailbox at Google (Gmail) through Cloudflare Email Routing. Google may process data in the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

We delete your messages once your request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods apply.

Notify me: we use your email address only to tell you once that the robot can be ordered, then we delete it. Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time by email.

5. When we connect you with a dealer

Antarum doesn’t sell robots itself. If you want to buy, we can connect you with an authorised dealer. We pass on your details (name, email address, the robot and your questions) only after you’ve said yes: with the tick box in the contact form, in your message or later by email. Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. From then on, the dealer processes your data under its own privacy policy.

6. Links and affiliate links

We link to manufacturers, dealers and sources. When you click such a link, you leave Antarum; the privacy policy of the other website applies.

Some buy links are affiliate links, marked with *. If you use one, the shop (for example Amazon) learns that you came from Antarum and may set cookies on its own website to credit a purchase to us. We don’t receive your name or your order, only commission reports; we process no personal data for this ourselves. Amazon processes your data under its privacy notice on amazon.de.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). An email toinfo@antarum.com is enough.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): where we process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you can object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin.

8. Nothing required, no automated decisions

You don’t have to give us any personal data to use this website. We make no automated decisions and create no profiles.

9. Changes

We update this policy whenever the website changes, for example when we add a new service.
