Which one?

ANTHBOT M9

Choose the M9 if your lawn is up to 1,000 m² and you want RTK plus two cameras. Rated ‘gut’ (2.0) by netzwelt and also sold in the US.

Ecovacs GOAT O800 RTK

Choose the GOAT O800 RTK for a smaller lawn if you buy in Europe: it costs less, adds 3D LiDAR and recognises 200+ object types. It came out best of 14 mowers at Stiftung Warentest.

ANTHBOT M9: Why it’s on our list

  • netzwelt test 04/2026: 'gut' (2.0); PC-Welt calls it a recommendable mid-range mower
  • No boundary wire: RTK plus two cameras, so there is no cable to lay
  • Up to 1,000 m² with a compact robot of about 9.8 kg

Ecovacs GOAT O800 RTK: Why it’s on our list

  • Stiftung Warentest 04/2026: 'gut' (2.4), best of 14 mowers tested
  • Wire-free at a mid-range price
  • Independent proof

ANTHBOT M9: What bothers us

  • Leaves an uncut strip along borders, in corners and around obstacles, so edges need trimming by hand (PC-Welt, netzwelt)
  • In PC-Welt's test it got wedged between chair legs and tore up turf; on uneven slopes it sometimes got stuck (netzwelt)
  • Satellite navigation can struggle under heavy shade from trees or buildings (netzwelt)
  • 4G and NetRTK are free only for a trial period; PC-Welt names €39.99 a year for 4G remote control

Ecovacs GOAT O800 RTK: What bothers us

  • Narrow 22 cm cut, suited to smaller lawns
  • Only 45% slope capability
  • Warentest found widespread weaknesses in safety and obstacle tests across the field and advises mowing in daytime only
