The fifth generation of Agility’s warehouse humanoid: a 1.81 m robot that repeatedly lifts loads of up to 22.7 kg and recharges in about 9 minutes. It is designed to work near people without safety cages.

Digit already does paid work: the previous model logged more than 65,000 operating hours at GXO, Schaeffler, Amazon and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada.
Built for shared spaces: Digit 5 adds human detection, visible motion cues and an independent safety controller, and Agility contributes to ISO 25785-1, the first humanoid safety standard.
Fast charging (about 9 minutes per 90 minutes of work) allows more than 20 hours of work a day.

What bothers us

Digit 5 is not shipping yet: early access in the first half of 2027, general availability planned for the end of 2027.
North America only today; the EU and UK are planned, without a date.
Agility is still loss-making; its stock-market listing via a SPAC was expected to close only by the end of 2026.
