Why it’s in

  • The production version of the best-known humanoid: 56 degrees of freedom, IP67 and batteries it changes by itself.
  • Moving towards real factory work: since September 2026 Atlas trains on logistics and parts-handling tasks at a new centre at Hyundai’s Georgia (US) plant.
  • Built by an established robot maker (Spot, Stretch), part of Hyundai Motor Group, with production at its Boston headquarters.

What bothers us

  • Not orderable in 2026: all units go to Hyundai and Google DeepMind; new customers only from early 2027.
  • No public price and no EU availability announced.
  • No public record yet of Atlas working regular shifts on a production line.
